so everyone that knows me knows that my friends and I really love bachlorette parties-
we have traveled several places to party and we are actually starting to run out of places that are within 5-6 hours!!
But this time the party was for our good friend Melissa Simpson who will be a married lady in June and we are all so excited for her.
I was already scheduled to fly in for this bachlorette party so it was just easier since I was already stationed in KY...
We all loaded up the cars and headed out around lunch time on Friday...
We decided to call this an adventure...haha
Lets just say it was not in the nicest part of town..it was this nice house in a very interesting part of town...
On Friday night we played some games...did some present exchanging and well just basically gabbed all night- which we tend to do when we all get together...
I found some exciting news on this trip- my sorority little sister Sarah is expecting her second child...I found this out because we were all having some wine..and well Sarah was not..and Sarah LOVES wine...so I pretty much figured it out on my own...i don't have a bachelors and masters for no reason..haha
So i am super excited for her, Ross, and Cambron (he is going to make a great big brother)
So then on to Saturday- we all went to the spa for the day..it was so nice- they ordered food for us...and we all just got to relax and get our service of choice...
Next we went shopping and went walking around Indy-
It seems like a really cool town- and I would actually like to spend more time there when TC and I move back to KY...
Well now on to our next adventure-
"The lack of hot water"
so we discovered we had no hot water in the house...now that might not seem that bad but when 10 girls are in the house trying to get ready to go out....that is basically a catastrophe...
We were boiling water in the coffee pot and on the stove....
We washed each others hair in the sink..then would take a pitcher of hot water upstairs and take a quick wash off- and did I forget to mention we got down to only 1 operating bathroom...
We were all cracking up and just making the best of the situation...that is one reason I love these girls-
Some people would not have been able to handle this..but my girls...are always up for an adventure!
We then went to eat at the Spaghetti Factory and went out to Howl at the moon-
We had a great time..other than Indy is not a smoke free environment..and I suddenly remembered how much I HATE smoking...
So overall I think..actually I know Melissa had a great time
I am attaching some pics so everyone can see what a good time we had!!
